Antonio Rebollo says he feels much less pressure at the Barcelona Olympic Museum tonight than at the adjacent stadium fifteen years ago because he has made the shot several times now.

The 1992 Olympic cauldron will take fire from Rebollo's arrow in Barcelona as part of a larger anniversary gala. He will receive the flame from young table tennis star Yeray Hernandez, who happens to be celebrating his 15th birthday the exact same day

The ceremonies are meant to revive one of the most powerful images of the Games, yet also to anticipate future successes built on the legacy of 1992, according to organizers.

"We looking to the future, with a focus on the young promises made in those years," says Barcelona mayor Jordi Hereu.

The Museum also opens its honorary guestbook tonight. On hand to sign is Juan Antonio Samaranch, former IOC president and honorary IOC president for life. Other VIPs include Olympians and representatives from the centennial sport clubs – Catalan sports associations with more than 100 years of history.

Among the event organizers are the Spanish Olympic Committee, the Barcelona Olympic Foundation, the City of Barcelona and the government of Catalonia.

The schedule is unchanged despite a massive blackout in Barcelona. A power failure left approximately 350,000 customers without electricity in Barcelona on Monday morning. By Wednesday afternoon, hours before the ceremony, power had been restored to more than 90 percentof customers.
