Bosco Sport becomes General Partner for the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games

The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee today announced that Bosco Sport, the Russian sportswear brand, has been awarded General Partner status for the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Games in the Sochi 2014 Apparel category.

The deal, worth over $100 million, grants Bosco Sport the following official status:

- Exclusive Outfitter of the Russian Olympic and Paralympic teams (at Vancouver 2010, London 2012, Sochi 2014 and Rio de Janeiro 2016) and General Partner of the Russian Olympic and Paralympic teams (in respect to each team at the 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 Games)

- General Partner of the XXII Olympic Winter Games 2014 and XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi

Bosco Sport also signed the licensing agreement with the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee according to which Bosco Sport becomes official producer of licensed apparel with the Olympic symbols for the period up to and including 2016.

The status of General Partner gives the Company the right to use the symbols of the XXII Olympic and XI Paralympic Winter Games, as well as symbols of the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees on the territory of Russia. Bosco Sport also gains the right to use Olympians in the activation of its marketing and commercial programs.

As part of the agreement, Bosco Sport will produce uniforms for the Russian Olympic and Paralympic teams as well as Sochi 2014 volunteers and staff during the Vancouver, London, Sochi and Rio de Janeiro Games. The new 2010 Bosco Sport Winter collection with the Olympic symbols will hit the market already in November 2009. The Russian Olympic and Paralympic teams will be wearing the same uniform at the 2010 Games in Vancouver

Sochi 2014 General Partners already signed up are Aeroflot, Megafon, Rostelecom, Rosneft, Sberbank of Russia, Volkswagen Group Rus. Worldwide Olympic Partners signed up until Sochi 2014 are Coca-Cola, Atos Origin, Omega, Panasonic, Samsung and Visa.
