After the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), a federal agency headed by Rogelio Ramírez de la O, used its social networks to invite citizens to participate in the democratic exercise of the Revocation of Mandate, the National Electoral Institute (INE) issued precautionary measures against him and ordered him to remove the post from Twitter.

Through a statement, the Complaints and Complaints Commission of the body chaired by Lorenzo Córdova Vianello indicated that, during the afternoon of this Sunday, April 10, three precautionary measures were resolved. One of them was due to the dissemination of electoral propaganda and improper promotion of the Mandate Revocation process, which was presented by the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD).

The Commission also received a complaint filed by Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) against the Movimiento Ciudadano (MC) party for the dissemination of allegedly slanderous promotions and, finally, reported on the complaint filed by the INE against the federal agency.

“Informally, the INE instituted a procedure against the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, resulting from a publication on the official verified Twitter account of that Secretariat, where it invites citizens to participate in the Mandate Revocation process,” the statement stated.

In this regard, he gave a period of one hour to carry out the actions, procedures and steps necessary to remove the reported publication, as well as from any other electronic or printed platform under his domain, control or administration. Hours later, the SHCP deleted the social media post.

However, this action was severely criticized by different Twitter users and various INE councillors, since once again federal agencies violated the electoral ban in full democratic exercise.

One of the attacks came from the counselor, Ciro Murayama, who disapproved the fact, which, he declared, would reflect the relationship that the Morenoista Government keeps with the Law. In its tweet, the server annexed the constitutional decree which would put the administration back in the eye of the hurricane due to the alleged misuse of public resources for the propaganda of the exercise - an accusation that led to a series of accusations against Adán Augusto López, Secretary of the Interior (Segob), for the alleged commission of said offense.

“The Constitution prohibits the government from interfering in the revocation of the mandate. But today, in the middle of voting day, the official Twitter account of the Treasury seeks to influence citizenship. Thus their relationship with the law,” Murayama said.

In addition to complaints to the government unit, the National Action Party (PAN) and the PRD pointed out Mario Delgado Carrillo, the leader of Morena, for having committed electoral crimes by offering to take citizens to the polls in order to cast their votes.

During the meeting of the INE's permanent session, Ángel Ávila, representative of the PRD to the INE, informed the organization to request the assistance of the Office of the Prosecutor Specialized in Electoral Crimes (FEDE) in relation to an alleged carrying of votes conjured by the Morenoist Delgado Carrillo.

Initially, the standard-bearer of the Aztec sun congratulated the INE for being genuinely committed to the Mandate Revocation process and installing 99.98% of the boxes to consult people: “The INE has not failed citizens”.

However, he pointed out that this process is tainted by acts of politicians and public servants, so he insisted that the corresponding prosecutor's office should investigate the “carrying” carried out by Mario Delgado in the Iztacalco mayor's office.
