Last Thursday, April 7, the Colombian audience saw the development of a new 'Elimination Challenge' in 'MasterChef Celebrity Colombia' (2022), after which, the Antioquian troubadour known as Corozo had to leave the program, where a group of renowned figures compete for the title of the best cook.
Why was Antioquia eliminated? Well, in addition to the troubadour, they were also fighting for their place in the culinary reality show: Tatán Mejía (motorcyclist), Tostao (singer), Manuela González (actress), Estiwar G (influencer), Aida Morales (actress), Natalia Ramirez (actress) and Aco Pérez (actor).
Of all those sentenced in black aprons, those who had the most successful culinary preparations were Morales, Ramírez, Mejia and González. For their part, Pérez and Estiwar G had good dishes, but not ones that completely surprised the juries, Nicolás de Zubiría and Chilean Christopher Carpentier, except Jorge Rausch who was absent this time.
Tostao cooked with his usual good seasoning, but the singer from Chocoano has not been able to develop enough plating skills and, now, as for Corozo, on his tenderloin sautéed with onions, mushrooms, rice and some almost imperceptible pieces of avocado, the following criticisms were highlighted:
Nicolás de Zubiría commented: “... You choose the ugliest part of the avocado for me, which is the inner part... and you don't let me see everything... very good seasoning, the plating we are going to do more things... I don't buy avocados for you because they are not beautiful...”.
For his part, Christopher Carpentier highlighted the fact that he has repeated preparations. “What happens to me with your dish - which is not bad, it is delicious - but it is the only dish of all those who have tried that you have not dared to leave the comfort zone, you stayed back in the rice, in the onion in the cream, in the meat”.
Already from his social networks, the troubadour realized how grateful he is for his participation in the reality television program, presented to the public on behalf of Canal RCN.
“I only have words of thanks for 'MasterChef Celebrity Colombia' and Canal RCN. Thanks also to Christopher Carpentier, Nicolás de Zubiría and Jorge Rausch for so many teachings, to Claudia Bahamón for such sweetness and to all my companions for so much support and affection. This experience will always be in my heart”, were the words that the Antioquian wrote on his Instagram account.
Celebrities eliminated so far in 'MasterChef Celebrity Colombia' (2022): Luis Eduardo Arango (actor), Martín Karpan (Argentine actor), Lady Noriega (actress and singer), Jair Romero (actor), Maria Teresa Barreto (actress), Carolina Gomez (former queen and actress) and Corozo (troubadour), in their respective order.
It should not be left out that Alexandra Montoya (imitator and comedian) is also out of the reality show, but because of the resignation she presented.
