This Monday, Mexican deputies from the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources spoke in favor of the electricity reform initiative, the controversial proposal of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, which has generated controversy both inside and outside Mexican territory, Lawmakers assured that it is of an environmentally friendly proposal.
What is noteworthy is that the opinion was quite divided because, although the majority of the votes were reached to consider it as the opinion in general of the entire committee, the vote was 17 votes in favor against 14.
