After the Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) party announced that it lodged a complaint with the National Electoral Institute (INE) in order to sanction the actors who have promoted the #SélvameDelTren initiative, the reactions of Internet users and political figures were not long in coming, including that of the national president of the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD), Jesús Zambrano Grijalva.
Through his official Twitter account, the leader of Sol Azteca lashed out against President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), assuring that the complaint filed shows that the so-called Fourth Transformation (Q4) has no limits in its cynicism.
In his message, the perredist recalled that Morena has violated the ban for the Mandate Revocation consultation, and given this, the electoral body has issued several precautionary measures that the cherry party has not complied with.
He added that a few weeks ago Morena in the Senate of the Republic approved an opinion with a draft decree, with the aim of allowing officials to promote consultation of Revocation without being sanctioned.
However, continued Jesús Zambrano, the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF) considered that the decree is not applicable for consultation which will take place on 10 April, or for the electoral processes that are already under way.
