The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis reported that at 16:00 hours on March 29, maximum concentrations of ozone were recorded in the Cuajimalpa and Cuauhtémoc mayors offices in Mexico City (CDMX), so phase 1 of environmental contingency by ozone was activated, this with the aim of reducing the population's exposure to air contaminated and the risk of damage to their health, as well as to reduce the generation of pollutants.
