Putin negotiates the sending of 800 fighters of the terrorist group Hezbollah to Ukraine

Novaya Gazeta, Russia's most influential independent media outlet, revealed that the agreement would include a payment of $1,500 a month for each fighter

Vladimir Putin knows Hezbollah well. The relationship with the terrorist group has a common interest: Syria. In fact, Russian troops and Lebanese fighters together control much of the territory in support of dictator Bashar Al Assad.

Now, the Russian president would be seeking support from his terrorist ally to make up for the lack of men in Ukraine. It's just that what was intended as a rapid and effective invasion became a trap for Russian troops. Inexperienced soldiers, thousands of casualties — including high generals — and misuse of equipment are prolonging the Kremlin incursion, while international sanctions are slowly stifling its economy.

Novaya Gazeta, the independent Russian media that won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021 for research and publication corruption scandals and human rights violations by the Putin regime, reported that the Russian Wagner Group - a private military company accused of handling mercenaries - is negotiating with the Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah to send fighters to Ukraine.

The media reveals that Wagner would have as its representative in these secret negotiations a certain Alexander Kuznetsov, and that on the side of Hezbollah, a senior member of Naji's security unit, Hassan al-Shartouni (also known as Hajj Abu Ali), is negotiating.

The meeting, he details, would have taken place last week and at the meeting they would have agreed to send 800 Hezbollah fighters to Ukraine to fight. Each of those 800 fighters will receive $1,500 a month for their services.

Novaya Gazeta adds that shortly after the Kuznetsov summit with Hajj Abu Ali, Hezbollah opened a recruitment and mobilization office in the city of Quseir, Homs province in Syria. This office is under the direct supervision of Hezbollah's military intelligence officer, Asaad Hamieh (also known as Haj Hadi).

In addition, in the Syrian cities of Aleppo, Yabrud and Sayyida-Zeynab, three additional offices have already been opened to mobilize Hezbollah militants stationed in Syria. And a fourth office would start operating in Lebanon, neighboring Syria, in the southern suburb of Beirut, controlled by the terrorist organization.

The first stage is scheduled, according to local media, for Tuesday, March 29. Allegedly, 200 fighters will be transferred from Damascus to a military airbase in the Gomel region of Belarus.

In the recruitment offices, terrorists willing to travel to Ukraine must indicate the name, date of birth, military training and combat experience. Novaya Gazeta details that most of those already recruited belong to the Al-Abbas and Al-Radwan battalions, accustomed to heavy fighting in Syria.

“Hezbollah units sent to Ukraine could be a serious factor influencing the very course of the 'special operation',” warns the Russian media and recalls that Hezbollah is a modern army and that, in fact, “fighting is the way of life” of the group, since the welfare of a member of Hezbollah, the standard of living of his family and his social status directly depend on combat experience.

The news of the sending of fighters to Ukraine contrasts with Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah's own statements in a televised speech last week, in which he categorically denied the possibility. However, denying the sending of troops is a systematic practice in the group. For example, he denied his involvement in conflicts in Bosnia, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq... And then he ended up admitting to sending fighters.

The Kremlin and Hezbollah have been working together for years in Syria, where the Al Assads have ruled more than four decades ago. Russia does not recognize this, but hundreds of Russians integrated into the ranks of the Wagner Group are fighting alongside Syrian government troops. Putin and Nasralla have been the protectors of the ruthless dictator who repeatedly attacked his civilian population with chemical weapons.

The brutality of Lebanese fighters is also known and repudiated by the Syrians. Putin knows their effectiveness and that is why he is negotiating to add them to his illegal offensive in Ukraine.
