Argentina's Hernán Medina is the new coach of Motagua

Tegucigalpa, 17 Mar Argentinian Hernán Medina was announced Thursday as the new coach of Motagua, replacing his compatriot, naturalized Honduran, Diego Vázquez, who led the club for eight years. “FC Motagua would like to inform its great fans and sports press that this day our Board of Directors has taken the decision to hire the services of Professor Hernán Esteban Medina,” said the Honduran sports institution on the social network Twitter. Vazquez was separated from Motagua on matchday seven of the Clausura tournament and after the team was eliminated in the semifinal of the Concacaf Champions League by the Seattle Sounders of the United States.
