Anton Stach, the novelty of the German call

Guardar

A roster of 26 players with no big surprises, with a novelty, Mainz attacker Anton Stach: German coach Hansi Flick unveiled on Friday the group for friendly matches against Israel (March 26) and Holland (March 29).

Stach, 23, is European champion with Germany's U21 national team.

Bayern stars Captain Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Thomas Müller, Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sané and 18-year-old promise Jamal Musiala will be present, along with Premier League representatives Antonio Rüdiger, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner (Chelsea), as well as Ilkay Gündogan (Manchester City).

From Paris SG, Thilo Kherer and Julian Draxler, who returns to the national team, are called up.

The most notable absences are those of Bayern players Leon Goretzka, who continues to recover from injury and Niklas Süle (muscle tear).

It is striking that no Dortmund player, currently second placed in the Bundesliga, is called up. Borussia captain Marco Reus is injured, and central defender Mats Humels has not recovered in time from his Covid break.
