Utah celebrates the 20th anniversary of the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games with events and activities

Park City, UT (Feburary 1, 2022) - Febraury 8, 2022 marks the 20-year anniversary of the Opening Ceremony of the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. In celebration of the 20th anniversary, venue host communities in Utah are offering events and activities honoring 20 years of Utah’s Olympic Legacy. SALT LAKE CITY & KEARNS

- February 8, 2022: $5 skate night at the Gallivan Center

- February 8 - 12, 2022: Cauldron at Rice-Eccles Stadium will be lit in honor of the anniversary

- February 18, 2022 – $2 Public Skate (7-9 PM) & Figure Skating Show (6 PM) at the Utah Olympic Oval

PARK CITY

- February 7, 2022: NBC Olympic Rings tour at Utah Olympic Park (9 AM – 6 PM)

- February 10, 2022: Watch Party @ Utah Olympic Park hosted by Park City Ski & Snowboard (6 PM - 8 PM)

- February 5 - March 16, 2022: The Winter Sports Festival presented by Toyota in City Park (dates vary)

- February 12, 2022: 20th Anniversary Celebration of the 2002 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games at Bob Wells Plaza in Park City (2 - 5 PM)
