Singapore, 2 February 2009 – TheSingapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) andDeloitte Singapore have signed a Memorandum of Intent (MOI), underwhich Deloitte Singapore – the Official Consultancy ServicesProvider for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) – will provideconsultancy and financial services for the Games in 2010.
As the first Official Partner, DeloitteSingapore will provide strategic consultancy advice in areasincluding risk management, auditing and compliances, as well asfinancial and tax accounting services. Deloitte Singapore will alsooffer project management services in areas such as functionsdependencies study, enterprise risk management, processes review andenhancement.

Singapore will be hosting the inauguralYouth Olympic Games (YOG) from 14 to 26 August 2010. The Singapore2010 Youth Olympic Games will receive some 3,600 athletes and 800officials from the 205 National Olympic Committees (NOCs), along withan estimated 800 media representatives, 20,000 local andinternational volunteers, and more than 500,000 spectators.
