“Children don't touch each other, children respect each other. Justice for Damaris!” , was heard outside the Divincri of the Peruvian National Police (PNP) of the city of Chiclayo to demand the death penalty of Juan Antonio Enríquez García, the 'monster of Chiclayo', who kidnapped, tortured and raped the child under three years of age.

On Wednesday, April 13, the aggressor was captured in a house under construction. There the youngest was found asleep among cartons on the floor and was tied by her feet. The subject was taken to the police unit while the minor was taken to Las Mercedes Hospital to receive due care.

On the cell phone of the 'monster of Chiclayo' were found videos of sexual connotation in which the girl of 3 appears, which served as evidence in the investigation. Because of this, the Judiciary of the district of José Leonardo Ortiz gave nine months of pretrial detention, charged with the crimes of rape and tort kidnapping of a girl of only three years old.

Chiclayanos march demanding justice for Damaris

On Thursday morning, dozens of protesters gathered outside the autonomous organization to demand justice and the death penalty against Enríquez García, which also went viral on social networks.

The protests have been massive in Chiclayo: they have burned down the house of the 'Chiclayo Monster' where little Damaris was kidnapped and it is expected that the full weight of the law will fall against the rapist.

“I ask for your support, not to let that man get out (be freed). That man had no mercy,” the youngest's aunt told RPP Noticias.

JUSTICE FOR DAMARIS

In recent hours, #JusticiaParaDamaris became a trend on social networks, many voices demanding the death penalty for the 'Chiclayo monster', which has moved a city.

“Every day we witness the heightened situation of violence and danger to which girls and adolescents are exposed in our country. We demand life imprisonment for rapists and abusers, with no option for appeals and without benefits,” wrote Families United for Justice, a collective of relatives of victims of femicide seeking access to justice and civil redress, as described in your Twitter account.

Universitario Feminista called for a march in Plaza San Martín and in the Plaza de Armas to demand justice for minors. “The violence that women, dissidence and childhood suffer on a daily basis is nothing more than the violence that this patriarchal system has legitimized, institutionalized and normalized throughout history. The one that calls us today to raise our voices, to together fight against violence against a girl under 3 years of age. We demand justice and reparation for Damaris and all victims of patriarchal violence!” , they wrote on the microblogging network.

The BTS Army also raised their voice to demand justice against the rapist and called for more protection for women due to the cases of rape and femicide seen daily in Peru.

“I am very sorry for the situation of the little baby who was kidnapped and raped by a miserable man. A three-year-old baby went through this aberrant abuse. Justice for Damaris! #JUSTICIAPARADAMARIS . Nobody deserves to go through these acts, in Peru there is nothing to protect women, not even the laws 'protect' us. Thousands of cases of rape and femicide every day, nobody does anything,” they said on the account @lelebtslove, dedicated to the K-pop group, and posted a video of the demonstrations in search of justice for the minor.
