Sasha Sokol did not rule out taking legal action against Luis de Llano: “I'm analyzing my options”

After the complaint that Sasha Sokol issued on her social networks on March 8, where she fully disclosed the abuse she suffered as a teenager by Luis de Llano, the interpreter had not reappeared publicly.

Almost a month has passed and now the former Timbiriche was caught together with her partner Alejandro Soberón at Mexico City International Airport by the cameras of the Ventaneando program, before which she declared that in addition to a big thank you, she has nothing more to say about the topic that has been kept in the headlines in recent weeks.

“All I did was tell the truth, I don't want to talk about it anymore, but I thank them for their interest and solidarity,” the singer said before taking her flight to New York.

Sokol preferred not to express opinions on what was reported by Cecilia Fuentes, the producer's sister, who said that De Llano is going through a depression as the subject of public attack and the cancellation of several of his work projects following the complaint.

“I'm not going to comment. The only thing I can tell you is that I am very shaken, very moved, moved, with the reaction of solidarity that I have received.”

“And also very moved by people who, even today, still cannot clearly see what happened and name it, as long as that type of behavior continues to exist and something that is not correct continues to be normalized. Not for me, for boys and girls in the future,” he added.

The singer of Serás el aire also referred to the recent message that her colleague Rebecca Jones dedicated to her on social networks, where she mentions that it had already seemed strange to her more than 30 years ago to know that as a minor she was the girlfriend of the creative producer, then a 39-year-old man.

“I did hear about it and I deeply appreciate your gesture, like the one I appreciate from all the people who have understood what the situation was like,” Sokol said.

In addition, the singer did not rule out the possibility of going to the authorities, since the same Attorney General's Office of Mexico City placed itself at her command after hearing her complaint on networks. “I'm looking at all my options,” he said.

On March 27, Rebecca Jones remembered not only how she met Sasha but also what she felt when she saw the former Timbiriche at a party with producer Luis de Llano.

“I was 26, so you must have been 13. I remember being surprised when I saw you enter that adult party with producer Luis de Llano, whom I knew because I worked very early in my career with him. Seeing that he treated you like his girlfriend was very shocking and unpleasant for me, being that he was a man and you were a girl,” Rebecca Jones wrote to Sasha Sokol regarding her complaint against the Mexican producer.

The first actress said that things have changed nowadays, since years ago it was common for “silences and secrets” to be handled in the artistic environment.

“If I were to witness the same thing today, surely, even if it were my friendship, I would denounce it. However, actresses and actors of my generation know that in those years everything was very different, we lived in times of silence and secrets, of rumors, of abuse and violence sexual evening; of feeling 'grateful' and 'lucky' that I had never been prey to anyone in an environment that could be, known to all, so harmful and predatory.
