The dismembered body of 22-year-old Evelin Afiune Ramirez was located on Saturday afternoon, March 26. It was inside abandoned black bags on a property in the town of Santa Inés in Cuautla, Morelos.
According to official information, the young woman disappeared after attending a job interview. Evelin had recently graduated from university and on March 24 left home to look for work, but no longer returned, so her relatives reported her case to the Attorney General's Office of Morelos.
The last time he was seen alive, he was with a man, his interviewer, in a cafe, research revealed.
It was the employees of a nursery who called the authorities around 2:00 p.m. because they had discovered a strange bag on the side of the land where they were working.

The scene was attended by police officers who confirmed that it was the lifeless body of a 22-year-old girl, so the prosecution was informed and it was established that the characteristics corresponded to Evelin's report.
The news led to the indignation of citizens, who expressed their condolences to the family. Feminist groups also demanded justice.
“We express our sincere condolences to the family and mourn the loss of our sister. We are outraged by the fact that it continues to happen, until when will we be less? We demand #JUSTICIA for the case of Evelin, calling on the authorities, they will never have our silence,” the collective Revolutionary Feminists wrote on its Facebook portal.

For his part, the bishop of Cuernavaca, Ramón Castro Castro, also expressed his condolences and lamented the death of young Evelyn, who, in addition to organizing a mass in her memory, called for a stop to the violence in the state.
So far there are no detainees, nor have any potential perpetrators in Evelin's case been singled out.
It should be added that the entity where Evelin was killed has already been the Gender Violence Alert in Morelos for seven years, an emergency mechanism that sought to prevent femicide violence, the entity ranked first in the national place in femicide folders in August 2021.
On August 10, 2015, the National Commission to Prevent and Eliminate Violence against Women (Conavim) issued the Gender-based Violence Alert Decree (AVG) for 8 municipalities in Morelos, one of which is the place where Evelin was found: Cuautla. Other: Cuernavaca, Emiliano Zapata, Jiutepec, Puente de Ixtla, Temixco, Xochitepec and Yautepec.
The request was submitted by the Independent Human Rights Commission of Morelos AC since 2014 for the entire State of Morelos, through a document that analyzed 13 years of female violence since 2000, leading to a count of 530 femicides so far.
The one in Morelos was the first AVG declaration issued in accordance with the current regulations approved in 2014, of the General Law on Women's Access to a Life Free of Violence, and second in the entire country after the AVG decreed for the State of Mexico.
According to AVG investigations from August 10, 2015, until July 31, 2021, a total of 512 cases of femicide were documented, with 2019 being the year with the most cases.
