At the beginning of the month, Comprehensive Health Insurance (SIS) began promoting the campaign 'I have SIS, what about you? ' with the main objective of reminding citizens what steps they should take to find out if they are affiliated.
According to the Ministry of Health, prior to the state of national emergency that began more than two years ago, on March 16, 2020, SIS had approximately 20 million members. While at the end of last year, 2021, this number grew and the number of policyholders exceeded 25 million.
The rules on universal insurance issued by the Executive, especially those issued during the pandemic, authorized the SIS to make group and mass affiliations ex officio so that the greatest number of the population can count on the financial support of public insurance.
