Venezuela expresses its condolences for the plane crash in southern China

Caracas, 21 Mar The Government of Venezuela expressed its regret to China on Monday over the fall of a Boeing 737-800 from Eastern China that traveled between the cities of Kunming (southwest) and Canton (southeast) and in which 132 people were traveling. “Venezuela extends its heartfelt words of condolences to the beloved people and Government of the People's Republic of China, following the tragic plane crash that occurred on March 21, 2022 (...) with a regrettable result of numerous losses of human life,” said the Caribbean country's Foreign Ministry in a statement released on Twitter. He also expressed his regret and solidarity to the families of the victims and encouraged those who carry out rescue tasks in these “tragic circumstances”. “Venezuela reiterates the sincere relationship of brotherhood, friendship and solidarity that unites it with the People's Republic of China, which with strength and integrity are facing this unfortunate catastrophe that mourns the Chinese people,” he added.
