One of the central axes of the agreement is the supply of the Buenos Aires plant of Honda Motor in Campana with renewable energy for a period of 5 years

As explained in a statement, one of the central axes of the agreement is the supply of the Buenos Aires plant of Honda Motor in Campana with renewable energy for a period of 5 years and with 100% coverage of its electricity demand.

“YPF Luz will provide renewable energy from the Zonda solar park, located in San Juan Province, which is currently under construction and will go into operation in 2023. This agreement is aligned with Honda's global goal of achieving zero carbon emissions for all products and corporate activities by 2050,” they explained.

The agreement also includes commercial actions such as the accession of Honda's corporate fleet to YPF Ruta, the company's program that connects vehicles and uses advanced analytics to make more efficient use of the fleet; and the marketing of “Elaion Moto” brand specialties through the official dealer network of Honda motorcycles.

Both brands will enhance their presence in the SuperBike, Motocross and Enduro competition categories.
