
The Techint Group ended its tour of different cities in the interior of the country, with the aim of attracting young students and recent graduates from careers such as Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanics, Electromechanics and Chemistry; Systems; Business Administration and Accounting, to participate in the Summer Educational Practices (ENP) and the traditional Young Professionals Programme (JP), a pioneer in Argentina.
“Of the 400 profiles that the Techint Group selected, 201 vacancies were filled with PEV and the rest with JP and regular internships, with young people from provinces such as Tucumán, Santa Fe, San Juan, Mendoza, Buenos Aires province, Córdoba, Chubut, Neuquén and the City of Buenos Aires”, highlighted from the company led by Paolo Rocca.
“Techint seeks to kick off professional development in a company that is committed to new challenges, technological innovation and the transition to sustainable energy. Currently, more than 50% of the senior management of the Techint Group in Argentina, entered through the Young Professionals program,” they added.

According to the group — which is over 75 years old, present in 19 countries and is made up of the companies Tenaris, Ternium, Tecpetrol and Techint Engineering and Construction — a total of 4,386 young people (1,943 women and 2,443 men) from different careers applied. The destinations with the highest number of applications were CABA/GBA with 1,125, Mendoza and San Juan with 620, La Plata with 551, Cordoba with 379 and Bahía Blanca with 373.
Industrial Engineering was the highest earning career in the Summer Educational Practices, followed by Mechanical Engineering (36), Chemical Engineering (20) and Accounting (16). Of the total number of vacancies, 105 were filled by men and 96 by women. As for the Young Professionals program, 35 per cent of the income was women.
In addition, the careers with the highest number of women's incorporations were Chemical Engineering (80%), Business Administration (71%), Accounting (69%) and Industrial Engineering (50%).
