TORONTO, November 28th – Hbc today unveiled an exclusive lineup of merchandise featuring Miga, Quatchi and Sumi, the captivating mascots for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The Vancouver 2010 mascots will be among the most recognizable and colourful personalities of the Games. They will become cherished icons – especially for children – and symbols of the 2010 Winter Games, and of Canada. Miga, Quatchi and Sumi were inspired and influenced by local Aboriginal mythological creatures, popular culture, Olympic and Paralympic values, British Columbian and Canadian culture and wildlife, modern animation styles and the artists’ own imagination. Hbc is honoured to provide mascot apparel and a storybook that are made in Canada.
