Media Registration Opens for the 2012 Team USA Media Summit

The U.S. Olympic Committee announced today that registration for the 2012 Team USA Media Summit is now open. The event will take place May 12-15, 2012, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas. A one stop site,

2012 Media Summit, will allow members of the media to register for the event, book a hotel room, see the draft schedule and, as they are confirmed, see which athletes are attending.

This premier event provides media with unprecedented interview opportunities and access to America's top Olympians, Paralympians and hopefuls from all sports, all in one place, leading into the London 2012 Games.

Approximately 125 U.S. athletes on the summer sports program will participate in three days of media interviews at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. The athletes will take part in press conferences, broadcast interviews, photo sessions, roundtable interviews, sport demonstrations, new media sessions and lifestyle segments before more than 300 media at the event.

The USOC has hosted the Team USA Media Summit each year since 1988. The host cities have included Atlanta, Chicago, Colorado Springs, Houston, New York City and Salt Lake City. Click
