In this regard, Trasviña Waldenrath noted that since March 3, the report of the GN had been ruled and, although an extension was considered, only what had happened up to that point would be subject to review; that is, since the opinion process in the Public Security Commission does not contain what was stated by the opposition, it is not within the competence of the plenary make a discussion.
“Until now, to the committee, we have not received formal information about the enlargement of that report from either the Citizen Movement or the Board of Directors or the National Guard itself, since it is not subject to an opinion until we have it and we can consider it for the next ordinary session,” he said from his place; without However, his strongest statement was when he concluded, as he told the Senate that this issue does not concern him.
In addition to this, he ruled that the actions taken by the executive as supreme head of the Armed Forces are his authority and not the power of the Senate.
Finally, she reaffirmed her support for President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) in the consultative process to be held on April 10 and assured that she is “definitely, convinced, with firm principles and convictions to support the continuation of the Mexican President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, as the best president of the republic.”
Under this logic, the Morenista closed ranks together with the official speech that has been given against Lorenzo Córdova, president of the INE, and Ciro Murayama, a member of the council of this body, and declared that in this electoral appendix “they are satraps and corrupt”.
Then, the debate continued, as opposition senators insisted that the fault committed by López Hernández must be maintained in the public sphere and that it is part of the federal legislature's responsibilities to condemn such acts.
