
(ATR) More than 200 international media had the opportunity to attend the PyeongChang World Press Briefing hosted by the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (POCOG).
Over the course of four days media were presented an overview of the preparations for the Games along with the opportunity to explore future venues within the mountain and coastal clusters where all ice events are to be held.

"The PyeongChang 2018 World Press Briefing is a meaningful opportunity to connect with local and international media while introducing the upcoming Games and host city. As excitement about the Games is growing, we hope that every participant can leave PyeongChang with a positive impression and better understanding of our current preparations for the Games." Director General of Media Operations Jin-heung Lee said in a statement.
A total of 24 test events have been scheduled this winter ahead of the PyeongChang Games, the first beginning tomorrow. The FIS Snowboard (Big Air) World Cup will be held from Nov. 23-26 with the ISU World Cup Short Track Speed Skating taking place from Dec.17-19 to end the year.
The 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will begin on Feb. 9, 2018 and conclude on Mar. 18.
