Wolves were held to 0-0 draw by Burnley down on Wednesday at Molineux Stadium. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Wolves wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Norwich City in their previous game. Burnley, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, Wolves are in 6th place on the table and has 21 points while Burnley sit in 18th with 10 points after 14 matches.

For Wolves, Trincao, came on for Hee-chan Hwang. Burnley brought on Jay Rodriguez, Matej Vydra and Aaron Lennon, to replace Chris Wood, Johann Gudmundsson and Maxwel Cornet.

There were bookings for Hee-chan Hwang and Max Kilman from Wolves, and Ben Mee, Matthew Lowton and Jay Rodriguez, for Burnley.

Wolves will next play Liverpool at home, with Burnley facing Newcastle United away.
