Rescuers say they were killed in a new attack on Kiev.

One person was killed and three injured on Thursday when a Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital caused the wreckage of a rocket that crashed into an apartment building in Kiev fell, emergency services reported.

The Ukrainian State Emergency Service said it had evacuated 30 people from a 16-story building in the eastern Darnitsky district after rescuers were beaten at 5H02 (03H02 GMT).

The Russian army, who wanted to surround Kiev, launched an early morning attack on the capital for several days in a row.

The upper part of the Soviet-style building was partially damaged, and the apartments on the upper floors were destroyed, AFP reporters found on the site.

“In Kiev, the wreckage of the crashed rocket collapsed, causing destruction and fire in the building,” said Facebook's emergency service.

“According to preliminary reports, 30 people were evacuated and three of them were injured. One person died.” I added that.

AFP reporters observed that almost all windows in the building were broken and at least three nearby buildings were damaged.

The incident occurred within two hours of the city's exit from the curfew imposed on Tuesday night, amid what the mayor of Kiev called “a dangerous moment.”

On Tuesday, four people were killed in an attack on a Kiev residential building, and one set of apartments was caught in flames.
