Levante fail to take all 3 points, after 2-2 draw with Granada

Both sides left looking for positives as Levante versus Granada, ends in a 2-2 draw

On Saturday, Levante and Granada were held to a 2-2 draw at the Ciutat de Valencia. Levante were looking to continue their run, following a 2-1 victory against Real Madrid. Granada were unable to beat Celta Vigo in a 0-0 draw. After today's result, Levante are in 9th place, with 27 points from 22 matches, while Granada sit in 8th, with 30 points from 22.

Levante started well as, beginning with a goal from Jose Luis Morales in the 30th minute. However, their lead was short lived, with an equalizer from a Robert Kenedy just before half-time brought Granada level to see out the first half 1-1.

Levante took the lead in the second half, thanks to Jose Luis Morales opening the scoring in the 67th minute. However, they didn't maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from a Roberto Soldado just before the final whistle brought Granada level, levelled the score at 2-2 draw.

For Levante, Dani Gomez, Jorge De Frutos Sebastian, Son, Sergio Postigo and Enis Bardhi came on for Adrian Marin, Robert Kenedy, Yan Eteki, Jorge Molina and Nehuen Perez, while Granada brought on Antonio Puertas, Darwin Machis, Fede Vico, Roberto Soldado and German Sanchez to replace Adrian Marin, Robert Kenedy, Yan Eteki, Jorge Molina and Nehuen Perez.

There were bookings for Jose Luis Morales from Levante and Angel Montoro, Roberto Soldado and Luis Suarez for Granada.

Levante next face Osasuna and Granada are at home to Atletico Madrid.
