In the Azcapotzalco mayor's office, the authorities implemented the temporary nutritional food supply program in order to allow people to buy products from the basic basket at affordable costs.

The program began today, March 15 and will run until the 25th of the same month, the days that will be placed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Among the products they offer are tomato, onion, tomato, potatoes, pumpkins, chilies, lettuces, mushrooms, broccoli, cactus, chayote and more variety that has cheaper prices to boost the circular economy.

According to the mayor of the demarcation Margarita Saldaña Hernández, the program proposes to improve the quality of food, for this reason, they have good quality fresh products at cheaper prices, with the aim of reducing their consumption of processed foods, she also specified that the duration of the food supply will be in accordance with the consumption and demand of the inhabitants.

Similarly, in a press conference, he indicated that the Nutritional Food Supply will be carried out in territorial units that do not have public markets so that they do not affect their operation and thus the program offers products from the basic basket at a better price.
