The technology companies are once again driving Hang Seng, which adds another 1.21%

Shanghai, China, 23 Mar The Hong Kong Stock Exchange benchmark, Hang Seng, closed today with gains of 1.21% in a session marked, once again, by the rebound in technological values. The selective scored 264.8 points to 22,154.08, while the index that measures the performance of mainland Chinese companies listed on the Hong Kong parquet, Hang Seng China Enterprises, increased by 1.28%. Mixed sign between subscripts, with losses for Services (0.98%) and Real Estate (0.44%) and gains for Finance (0.78%) and Trade and Industry (1.95%). Two companies that performed better than expected were among the leaders of the day: the manufacturer of 'smartphones' and other devices Xiaomi advanced 4.09%, and the pharmaceutical technology solutions company Wuxi Biologics by 11.91%. It was also a good session for some of the heavyweights of the parquet, especially for e-commerce giant Alibaba (+6.72%). On the other side of the coin were the sportswear manufacturer Anta Sports, which left 7.12 per cent, or the acoustic component group AAC Technologies, which gave up 6.96 per cent. The turnover of the session was 177.34 billion Hong Kong dollars (22,662 million dollars, 20,565 million euros).
