
Torino were held to 1-1 draw by Sassuolo down on Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino. Torino were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games against Sampdoria away and Fiorentina at home, by 2-1 and 4-0 respectively. Sassuolo lost 4-2 in the last match they played against Hellas Verona. As the table looks today, Torino and Sassuolo currently occupy 10th and 11th spots in the league, with 32 points and 29 points respectively after 23 matches.
The Bull dominated the first half, thanks to a goal from Antonio Sanabria, 16 minutes in. They then managed to see out the first half 1-0.
Sassuolo took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Giacomo Raspadori just before the final whistle. The final result, Torino 1, Sassuolo 1.
Torino brought on Tommaso Pobega, Marko Pjaca and Daniele Baselli for Rolando Mandragora, Josip Brekalo and Dennis Praet. Sassuolo brought on Rogerio, Gregoire Defrel and Ruan, to replace Abdou Harroui, Rogerio and Giacomo Raspadori.
There were bookings for Rolando Mandragora, Bremer and Tommaso Pobega from Torino. For Sassuolo, Rogerio, Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi saw yellow.
Sassuolo and Torino will next play away to Sampdoria and Udinese respectively.
