The authorities of our country are still working to reactivate the Peruvian economy through the tourism sector and this is evidenced by the recent announcement of the long holiday that unites the month of October with November. Peruvians will be able to take advantage of these dates to be able to travel and discover new destinations, taking advantage of the offers offered by transport companies, travel agencies, as well as hotels and restaurants.
If your plan is to disconnect from the chaos of the capital and seek to reconnect with nature and the energy of the earth, these short-haul destinations are ideal for you:
Amazon: discover its hidden paradise and cool off in its waterfalls.
Áncash: make the most of its climate by visiting the archaeological sites, beaches, snow peaks and lagoons.
Arequipa: fall in love with its white streets, history of its town and the charm of its valleys.

To promote domestic tourism in the midst of the pandemic, the Government of Peru has declared new non-working days, which are divided as follows:
- From October 30 to November 2
- From December 24th to 27th
- From December 31 to January 3, 2022
LONG HOLIDAY: PROTOCOL FOR TRAVEL BY INTERPROVINCIAL TRANSPORT
- Mandatory use of a mask and face shield, both in the terminals and during the entire transfer.
- Buses can only carry people seated, it is forbidden to transport users in the passenger seat.
- The vehicle must have separation measures between the driver and passengers, such as acrylic or polycarbonate protection panels.
- Transport companies should take passengers' body temperature and ensure that social distancing is maintained within the agencies' premises.
- Passengers must submit an Affidavit of their state of health.
- Food consumption should be avoided and those who require it should disinfect their hands with alcohol.
