This Tuesday, the Prosecutor's Office of Nuevo León arrested former Governor Jamie Rodriguez El Bronco, who led the border country in two phases between 2015 and 2021, and was suspended in 2018 and was nominated for the presidency of Mexico.
The agronomist was arrested on charges of diverting resources, and since October 3, there was a different friction between the two, since it was announced by Samuel García, governor of Nuevo León and one of the main political detractors of personality.
One of the most memorable occurred after the arrest on September 30, when Jamie Rodriguez attended a protest by Luis Donaldo Colossio Riozas as President of the City of Monterrey. That day he laughed a few words about a hypothetical investigation into the future when he took a position and greeted those present, including the prosecutor's office and the elected governor.
The politician added that he wanted to add “a little smile to life” because it was one of the last days in the government under the command of Nuevo León at the time. So he continued to joke during the exercise.
He then continued his welcome speech with Luis Donaldo Colosio, the new mayor of Monterrey, just three days before the end of the term of state governor, and gave Samuel Garcia a seat. Samuel Garcia won the election with a significant margin at the head of the Movimiento party.
