Renzo Schuller does not rule out driving This is Guerra after the departure of Gian Piero Díaz: “I learned not to say no” | INTERVIEW

The jury of Peru Has Talent confessed that its contract with Latina ends on May 7. What will you do after that? Infobae talked to the TV host.

After sharing the leadership of Combate with Gian Piero Díaz for seven years, Renzo Schuller surprised viewers by reappearing on television as a jury, a facet never seen before. Every Saturday, the 45-year-old host rates the performance of the participants from Peru Tiena Talento, which is broadcast on the Latina Televisión signal.

In the competition program, the actor shares the jury chair with Ricardo Morán, Mimy Succar and Gianella Neyra. In the lead is Mathías Brivio, who was rumored for a long time that he was having an alleged feud with Schuller, although this has been ruled out by the same former presenter of Esto es Guerra.

Although the presence of Renzo Schuller in Peru Tiena Talento has made his fans happy, others are excited about the idea of seeing him again on a reality show. This began with the speculations that Rodrigo González threw in Amor y Fuego, stating that the remembered 'Shu Suh' would be the replacement for Gian Piero in This is Guerra.

In the midst of these rumors, Infobae talked with Renzo Schuller about his participation in Peru He Has Talent, about the possibility of conducting EEG with Johanna San Miguel and about his current relationship with Gian Piero Díaz, who has decided to change television houses.

Renzo, it's your first time as a jury. How have you felt in this new facet?

Very happy the truth. I am happy for many reasons. First because I have been surrounded by spectacular people, both the jury, the hosting and the production of the program. The atmosphere is very warm, calm. Also, because I have been enjoying and being amazed at the amount of talent that is presented.

You share the jury chair with other great talents. What was it like for you to be next to Ricardo Morán, Gianella Neyra and Mimy Succar?

Most of all, I know them all. We have worked with Ricardo for quite a few years. With Gianella I've done cinema, theater and various things; I've known her for a long time. There is a close relationship with each of them. Mimy Sucar is a spectacular woman, she's a lot of fun.

It was rumored for a long time that there was a grudge with Mathias Brivio. On the show you can see that they get along very well...

I never had an enmity with him. What's more, when they said that I kept talking to him and we laughed. There has never been any problem with Mathias, quite the opposite. He's fun, professional, a kingpin. With none I have ever had or will have any kind of problem at all.

On Instagram they asked you when your contract with Latina ended and you had no problem saying that on May 7. Are there any proposals to stay on the channel?

All the programs we've done are recorded. And yes, my contract goes until May 7, after that I don't know what will happen. There are always proposals everywhere, but it's not that I can say anything beyond that. I am happy doing what I am doing and where I am. I haven't the slightest idea what's going to happen next. I have learned to live everyday life in a good way.

Would you ever host a reality show like This is War again? Much is rumored about your possible income...

I haven't the slightest idea, I'm being honest. I've learned not to say no. Or rather, not to say that I would never do something because I don't know what will happen tomorrow. Right now I'm with Peru. He has talent and I don't know what happens tomorrow, I don't have the slightest idea. Like I said, let's see what happens...

You've driven a similar format before. What do you remember about Combat?

Fun, that. Fun.

Are you still talking to some members of the program?

Sometimes. I've always had a good relationship with everyone, but that's where privacy comes in. It's not like I stopped with them because I was going home. I'm not much of going out and if I do it is to go to eat basically. I can talk to someone who writes to me on Instagram, I'm very fond of most of them, but it's not that I stop with them.

Do you think it's possible to forge a true friendship on television?

Yes, of course. Friendship can be forged anywhere, but it depends on you how well you know the person. I don't think there's anything written. You might even fall in love on television like you couldn't. Anything can happen, definitely.

Many remember the friendship of 'Pipi' and 'Shu Shu'. How are you getting on with Gian Piero? He just released a show on Willax...

I always prefer not to touch on certain topics because that then leads to other things, leads to gossip. So, I prefer not to talk about certain things.

In these years on television, you have been characterized by trying to keep your private life on four walls. Has it been difficult for you?

No, it wasn't difficult. It is that it is everyone's decision. I show what I want to show and I don't show what I don't want to show. I prefer to keep a lot of things out and leave them to myself. But I respect those who don't, it's up to everyone. I have a lot of time working on television and I never show much because I try to be careful. Especially for my family, my daughters... It's up to you how much you want it to be known.
