(ATR) Jochen Lösch has been named the new chief executive officer ofMP & Silva.
Löschhas worked in the international sports industry for nearly 20 years including positions as the President of International Business at Traffic Sports Marketing andSportfive’s Vice President of TV Rights.

He will be succeedingMarco Auletta who recently resigned from his position.
Auletta had been with MP & Silva for eight years and is responsible for continuing the companies growth by providing media rights to over 200 broadcasters in 215 countries - including Grand Slam tennis, motor racing, handball, baseball, volleyball, boxing and the NFL.
After creating his final partnership between Baofeng, Everbright and MP & Silva, Auletta believed it was the perfect time for his decision.
"I am delighted to be leaving MP & Silva in such a positive fashion and I wish my successor the very best in taking on the role of CEO at this important moment in the company’s history," Auletta said in a statement.
Coca-Cola CEO Named on Vice President Shortlist
The CEO of Olympic TOP Sponsor Coca-Cola was included in Hillary Clinton's short list for vice president.
Batches of information from the hacked email of Clinton's campaign chair John Podesta has been posted on Wikileaks including messages naming CEO Muhtar Kent along with others on a 39-person running mate list.
Other business leaders including CEO and chairwoman of General Motors Mary Barra, the president of the Rockefeller FoundationJudith Rodin and Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed were also on the list.
Kent has served as Coca-Cola's chief executive for eight years and has been an active supporter and donor to Hillary Clinton's political campaign.
U.S. SenatorTim Kaine was chosen by Clinton as her running mate.
Major Changes for Atlanta Olympic Legacy
Significant improvements are being made to the city of Atlanta within the next few years, and Centennial Olympic Park is one of them.
AT&T will be partnering with the Georgia World Congress Center authority (GWCCA) to donate $1 million to renovate the Olympic attraction.
Updates to the 21-acre park are a component of the GWCCA’s 2020 Vision plan which involves raising a total of $25 million for its enhancements.
Renovations will include new programming to the Olympic rings water features, a restaurant, a revamped amphitheater, and a more open space for visitors.
"We are proud to continue our investments in this vibrant community and to work closely with our friends at the Georgia World Congress Center Authority to breathe new life into the Centennial Olympic Park," president of AT&T Georgia Bill Leahysaid in a statement.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 banned from major transport: UPDATE
Due to recent incidents involving Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones catching fire, all of those models have been banned from specific modes of mass transport.
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced they would add the electronic device to a list of prohibited items on U.S. airline flights, effective immediately.
Following DOT's lead, the Galaxy Note 7 phones have also been banned from Amtrak services.
This ban doesn’t just include Amtrak trains but buses, stations and platforms as well.
Samsung has already ceased production and sales of the phones after a short-lived campaign that saw replacement phones having the same issue.
One of the replacements caught fire in the U.S. while on a Southwest Airlines plane, forcing theevacuation of 75 passengers.
Samsung along with 11 others serve as a TOP Olympic sponsors.
