SAO PAULO (1 October, 2012)– Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, is set to unveil a dramatic concept car at the 27th Sao Paulo International Motor Show (24 October – 4 November).
The new concept car has been designed by Nissan Design America in San Diego, California, under the direction by Shiro Nakamura. This is the first time that Nissan has created a car specifically for Brazil, by cooperation with Brazilian designers and built in Brazil.
"I`m so excited because I will be in Sao Paulo to reveal the concept car. It is the birth of something special for Nissan and it will be a hugely significant milestone in our plans for Brazil." said Shiro Nakamura.
Nakamura is responsible for overseeing the creation of distinctive and innovative design of Nissan, leading more than 800 staffs worldwide, and even managing global design strategy, mid-long term design plan. He is well known as one of the most celebrated Japanese car designer in the world.
