Five athletes from four nations won their races in Lake Placid: Martins Dukurs (LAT, men’s skeleton), Francesco Friedrich (GER, two-man bobsleigh), Elana Meyers Taylor (USA, woman‘s bobsleigh) and Maximilian Arndt (GER, fourman bobsleigh).
