(ATR) The fourth edition of the Host Cities summit will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in just two weeks from Nov. 18-19.
The event is set to bring together an international community of over 200 experts in the field of sports and event management.
The theme of the summit is "Embracing Future Events" and will identify trends in the city strategies for bids, engagement, sponsorship and funding in order to share knowledge that can be applied to different events.
The conference has already assembled a strong list of presenters and speakers, including IAAF president Seb Coe, director of sport for London 2012 Debbie Jevans, secretary general for FAI Susanne Schodel and president of the World Badminton Federation Poul Hoyer.
"Many conferences coalesce around past events but few step into the future and seek the opinions of the next generation like Host Cities 2015 plans to. As a global city that connects people, places and ideas every day – and with Expo 2020 just five years away – Dubai is perfectly placed to bring together thought leaders, policy makers and event organisers from across the globe for what promises to be a stand-out event," said IAAF president Seb Coe.
