(ATR)The results of the 2014 Ranking of Sports Cities are out, and London remains in first place for the third consecutive year.

The 2014 Ranking of Sports Cities, presented by Around the Rings and in collaboration with TSE Consulting, ranks the top 50 sports cities from around the world on how much the public associates the city with sport.

Results are based on a public online vote coupled with an industry vote from sports experts.

To ensure the credibility of the ranking’s results, the answers from sports experts are weighted such that their answers count for more than the answers from the general public.

Lars Haue-Pedersen, managing director of TSE Consulting, joins ATR to discuss the results of this year's ranking of sports cities. Pedersen says ultimately the poll "awards continuous, hard work at an international level."
