“Kika Nieto, positive content” says the intro of the YouTube videos published by the Bogota influencer. However, the comments left by some users in his most recent publication on that platform were nothing positive, in view of the outlook, Nieto let go in tears and anger at the situation, so he wanted to put the topic on the table from his social networks.
Thus, on Sunday, April 3, he posted on Instagram in which he commented while crying:
“... Last week my friends went to the house, we were shooting different videos, we recorded seven videos that day for all the channels: that of Agents Dementes, that of Santi, Paulis & Mauro, Kika Nieto... and all the videos came out. Today one of mine came out where I was with them and I don't know, ninety percent of the comments are super ugly because they say that in all the videos I make for my friends, in all the collaborations they put on where I am, I come out super off, that I am very unfriendly, that I have a very annoying attitude... but that the video that I do, which is for my channel, that I am loved there, and that I do have a cool attitude”.
The video in question, shared by Kika Nieto on her YouTube channel, was named 'Tattooing with blindfolds', a collaboration between her and the aforementioned youtubers.
Now, returning to the subject of the bogotana's response to criticism, he commented that it is not the same to record only in company, therefore, his attitude has changes. “... I want them to know that it is different to act the way you do things when you are alone than when you do them with more people, because if you speak only the whole focus is you and all the energy shown is yours, when you are with more people it is different, you can't scream because there are more people, and yes, I am different.”
In her speech, Kika Nieto also realized that if she lowers her vibe a little when she is in company, it is for everyone to have equal prominence in the video that is being recorded in collaboration. In turn, he also commented that if the case were the other way around, the criticism would go on the side that he always wants to attract attention.
“I'm angry... I'm angry with me because I don't want to look like this sad... people always manage to find a way to see what you do wrong, if for example it were the other way around and I appear in my friends' videos with all the attitude, I scream and laugh like I am, people are going to say: - Ay Kika so annoying, he always wants to call the attention, she always wants everyone to notice her, opaque the others -... all the comments would be turned on the other side, but if I get off a little bit so that all my friends shine with me and talk to me and we are all the same, like I lower the mood a little, people tell me that I am unfriendly, that in my videos I do want to... ”.
The content creator was also frustrated at failing to avoid being criticized. “I don't know how to make that middle ground where everyone is happy and doesn't attack me on the one hand, on the other. It's super tiring to want to do things right and for people to always see everything wrong.”
Needless to say, Kika Nieto is also married to a content creator: Santiago Macías, who in the world of social media dreams of the name Santimaye. The couple's romantic story is about 13 years long, since they have been together since their teenage years.
