Bruno Pinasco used his Twitter account to refer to the situation facing the country with rising prices. As you recall, President Pedro Castillo pointed out that this is due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The president clarified that it is not possible to intervene, since it is not the fault of the Government.
“The increase in fuel prices is not the government's fault, because it is due to external factors such as the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and we cannot intervene in price control, because in this country, its economy is a social market model,” were Castillo's words, which achieved the reaction of the TV driver.
Through his social network, the figure from América TV shared a post where a user makes a comparison of how much prices have increased since the beginning of the current president's term. In this publication it can be seen that inputs now cost twice the real value.
“But he says that Russia is to blame,” wrote the presenter, adding a smiling face.
It should be remembered that this is not the first time that Pinasco has attacked the head of state. The producer also spoke out against Castillo when he considered him responsible for what happened on the beaches of Ventanilla. For the journalist, a late reaction and poor emergency handling.
“All the beings came out of the sewer to 'attack' me for daring to say that the president is also responsible for his little action and zero management of the emergency. What a shame,” wrote Twitter at the time.
DOES NOT LISTEN TO CRITICISM
These types of comments have also caused the response of many detractors, whom Bruno has not hesitated to face with a forceful publication. “Don't spend answering me! I don't care about three cucumbers what you have to say. Will I be trending again? I wish. Now spend your megas defending the indefensible! Bye bye”, he said.
CONCERN ABOUT RISING PRICES
Since last month, the population has been concerned about the rise in prices, radically damaging their basic basket, since basic necessities are scarce or, failing that, they cost much more than the real value.
Infobae Peru toured the market “El Tambo”, located in the district of Carabayllo, this wholesale collection center, is intended to distribute vegetables, fruit and meat to other supply centers in the areas.
During our tour it was possible to see that there is indeed an increase in prices. According to the traders themselves, this is changing every day. For example, on Friday and Saturday the kilo of garlic cost 6 soles, this Sunday the price varied to 10 soles. The same thing happens with lemon, now the quarter of this citrus fruit costs 2 soles.
In this market you can find onions between 2 soles at S/1.50, the same happens with the price of yellow and white potatoes. Something that the merchants constantly repeated, is that the products that are arriving are very ripe and are in small sizes. Bread, rice, legumes, chicken, fuel, among others, have seen an increase; which undoubtedly affects the poorest sector of the country.
