After the controversy that broke out in the second week of March over a tweet stating that Regina Blandón could accuse Eugenio Derbez of harassment, the actress in a last speech, she shared that it is very dangerous for the media and society to engage in news of this kind, just because they have more visibility in a legitimate struggle of women.
It was in an interview with Javier Poza's radio program on Radio Formula, that the actress who gave life to Bibiana “Bibi” in La familia P.Luche spoke about the controversy that arose and asked that the issue of abuse be treated seriously, since there are victims with true complaints.
“I am very impulsive and at no time would I want to offend anyone, but I was quite angry that this is a serious issue and there are real victims,” Blandón argued.
Later, he pointed out that some media used the tweet to want to have more clicks on something that was never true at any time: “I think we should have one more thing of respect and think about what is being asked and how we are asking it. I am not against talking things out, but civilly and with the respect it deserves,” he said.
He also stressed that there must be respect and seriousness between the celebrities of the show and the people behind the media: “It is not history because of history, I think that the media and we work together, if we start doing so and with those disrespect and seriousness,” he said.
The actress again took the opportunity to attack the user who rumored Derbez's harassment against her and stressed that it is dangerous for this type of content to be released with such lightness: “The media are the ones that transmit the information, the truth and that it reaches more people, so it is very dangerous to get the news out of the news for that there is more movement in place.”
The interpreter of Mirreyes vs Godínez pointed out that all the controversy was generated by a comment without sustenance, which they allowed to grow: “It's silly, then we all get angry and since it has nothing to do with us, not with him, not with her, or me, it was a tweet that they grabbed and made of this size with words that no one had even said,” he said.
Finally, he asked the reporters to question with more respect the private lives of artists, which led to the fact that on March 17, the romantic couple of the important Mexican history and comedian, Alessandra Rosaldo, arrived at Mexico City International Airport (AICM) and was questioned about the controversy in front of her youngest daughter, Aitana Derbez.
“If you use a tweet, to relativize and do something big and want to pull nothing more clicks, on something that isn't even true and they arrive with a person in front of their daughter to ask her things that aren't true, I think you have to be more tactful,” concluded the 31-year-old actress.
Already since March 11, the protagonist of Guerra de Likes had rejected what the Internet user said, as she would not only have slandered Derbez, but would have minimized the legitimate complaints that women have made.
“Eugene is flawless. How do you just drop such a comment, just for your entertainment, minimizing the struggle, the courage of the victims, relativizing and, moreover, slandering? Think a little before publishing, please. This is a serious thing,” stressed the Mexican actress.
