Vanessa Bauche will add another complaint against Pascacio López for sexual abuse

Mexican actress Vanessa Bauche was one of the first histrionists to raise her voice against Pascacio López, after she accused him of workplace violence and harassment when both were part of the production, Guerra de Vecinos. However, the interpreter's defense indicated that it will add a second complaint against the actor.

It was in a recent exclusive intervention with the TV Azteca show program, Ventaneando, that the Mexican actress's legal expert, Arturo Palafox, claimed that Bauche will file another complaint against the interpreter for sexual abuse.

“The complaint entails sexual abuse in the sense that he performs a sexual act without the purpose of reaching the top. The sexual act, in this case of Mrs. Bauche, was to kiss her by force. They also talk about crimes against human dignity, that is, for violence at work, the form, the mistreatment, the harassment she suffered in the development of the series,” stressed the defense of the 49-year-old actress.

According to the litigator, the attacks against Vanessa Bauche occurred during the recordings of Guerra de Vecinos, which was shot during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Arturo Palafox also stated that Netflix did not carry any protocol to remedy the situation of internal violence experienced in its production; however, after media pressure, he added that they carried out an internal investigation, which they did not make known to the actress who gave life to Rosy Esquivel, in the series by Luis Miguel by the same production company.

Finally, the lawyer of the Mexican historian pointed out that what Vanessa Bouche seeks is “reparation of damages” and confirmed that all the renowned Mexican actress wants is justice.

“We are looking for what is called reparation of harm, which is all that psychological impact that resulted from acts of gender-based violence or from these acts that violated human dignity [...] It is not an objective to see Mr. Pascacio in prison for this complaint, we can even talk about an apology and compensation for the damage,” said Palafox.

It should be recalled that Vanessa Bauche had already denounced the histrion for workplace harassment; however, Pascacio López's defender, José Enrique Pascacio, accused the actress of plotting accusations against her client.

“It struck this lady Bauche because she didn't learn her scripts, when she does it publicly, she takes a hatred and tells her that it will destroy her life, that is the real motive,” she said in a meeting with the media that was taken up by Ventaneando.

After hearing the accusations from the interpreter's lawyer, the actress used her social networks to share a minute in which she denies that she plotted the accusations against the actor. She also deepened that she was the one who decided not to continue with the Netflix project, after learning that Pascacio López had been rehired.

Pascacio López, was placed at the disposal of the authorities since March 16, 2022, when an arrest warrant against him was released in Jalisco for allegedly abusing him sexually from his fellow production partner in Neighbor War, Sarah Nichols.

This document was issued by a supervisory judge, oral trial and specialized criminal execution with violence against women of the Supreme Court of Justice of the State Judiciary. It was also pointed out that Pascacio will be held in informal pre-trial detention for the duration of his trial, since the crime of rape requires such precautionary measure in accordance with the provisions of the relevant authorities.
