Kenia López Rabadán, vice-coordinator of the National Action Party (PAN) in the Senate of the Republic, filed a complaint with the Special Prosecutor for Electoral Crimes (FEPADE) against the Movimiento de Regeneración Nacional (Morena) party for the electoral use of social programs.

In the document presented by Senator Panista, the cherry party is accused of being “likely responsible for implementing an onerous campaign to influence citizens.”

According to López Rabadán, the campaign has been evidenced in the placement of propaganda that conditions the delivery or continuity of social programs, such as pensions for older adults, scholarships for young people and children, support for women and the countryside, “and even coerces the vote so that the Metro can continue with a fee of five pesos or for vaccines to continue to be applied,” added the legislator.
