Surprised and moved. So were the followers and friends of actress Natalia Durán, who published a video last Tuesday through her social networks, through which she made a heartfelt reflection on the sexual abuse she experienced as a child.
According to what was stated by the 40-year-old caleña in a courageous story, it was during her early years and at the hands of Fernando Segura, her biological father, that she became a victim of this and other scourges.
In addition, Durán removed another painful memory by mentioning that, years later, two of his cousins also forcibly accessed her carnally.

This type of violence, she said, created in her a lack of self-acceptance with respect to her body, which added to the demands of a society and industry in which physical attractiveness is highlighted, and she ended up having a breast prosthesis implant.
Because of the increase in her breasts, Natalia Durán began to develop a series of symptoms that, after several years of medical examinations and studying herself, she noticed that they are very similar to those of a person suffering from Asia syndrome, caused by the presence of this type of prosthesis on the body.

Likewise, he began to suffer from thyroid cancer and these health problems totally changed his life, as he went from being a very active person to seeing how his body suffered and worn out, as did his memory and career.
He even admits that he still struggles with these effects and even has difficulty expressing himself fluently.
And although she has had to live and learn from her illness and her disorders, Natalia Durán warns that she is not an authority to talk about how to overcome these kinds of problems, so her video was dedicated to all those women who feel lonely and hopeless, even in an affective relationship.

In the same way, he named those who go through hard diseases, feel judged or misunderstood, and know “that pain is not comparable or measurable.” It also included men who have been “pressured and trained by society to prove their manhood”, as well as family and friends who have supported him unconditionally.
The reactions to what Durán said were not long in coming and many people took advantage of the moment, not only to reflect on it, but to make their own life testimonies known.
“What a sadness that history repeats itself in many women of a similar era, I was also abused and I am almost the same age. Why do men do this cruel harm to girls? They leave us marked for life! ”, Andrea Álvarez replied to the publication.
