Jim Carrey said he was disgusted by Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars: “He overshadowed the moment”

In conversation with CBS Mornings, famous actor Jim Carrey gave his opinion on Will Smith's controversial action during the 2022 Oscars, as in the middle of the ceremony he beat Chris Rock for mocking his wife Jada's alopecia.

“I was disgusted by the ovation to Will Smith. It is the proof that Hollywood is no longer the club that pleases (...) Nothing gives you the right to hit someone for words (...) It overshadowed the moment of glory of many who worked hard to be there,” the actor mentioned in films such as The Mask (1994).
