Madrid, 22 Mar Igor Zhovkva, the chief adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky and head of his presidential office, said tonight on television, that the leader of Ukraine “is very optimistic” because he knows “we are going to win”. In an interview on the program “Everything is true” on the television channel Four, Zhovkva assured that they have not lost hope in the negotiations with Russia and that the Ukrainian president is willing to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin. “My president is ready and we don't know if others are ready,” Zhovkva said. Zelenski's chief adviser has asked Spain and the rest of the European countries to support Ukraine to become a member of the European Union “as quickly as possible”.
