The Bahrain cycling team gave reassuring news on Tuesday about its Italian rider Sonny Colbrelli, hospitalized on Monday in Spain after a cardiorespiratory arrest after the arrival of the first stage of the Vuelta a Catalunya.
“All the cardiac tests carried out last night did not show any worrying signs or compromised functions,” said the formation of the European champion.
Colbrelli (31 years old) was rushed to the University Hospital of Girona after receiving a heart massage after crossing the finish line in Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
