Team Aze beats champion Infinity and goes to the League of Legends semifinal

Mexico, 20 Mar Team Aze swept champions Infinity 3-0 this Sunday and advanced to the semifinal of the 2022 Apertura of League of Legends (LLA) Latin America League in which it will clash with Estral. In his debut season in the first division of the LLA, Aze surprised in the playoffs the 2021 Clausura and Apertura champion in the series to win three out of five games in the summoner's rift. Thanks to the double-elimination format called “loser bracket” Infinity still has a chance of reaching the final, for which Isurus will be measured. The winner between Infinity and Isirus will face Rainbow7, who on Saturday fell in his 3-0 series to Estral 3-0. Whoever wins between Rainbow7 and his rival (Isurus or Infinity) will play against the loser of the semifinal between Estral and Team Aze to fight for the other ticket to the final. Team Aze won the first game this Sunday led by Dominican Dimitry Hernandez, who in the early game got three kills, killed two dragons and knocked down two towers. The two-time LLA champion equaled 3-3 in murders in the middle game driven by Argentina's Gabriel Aparicio. In the late game the Costa Rican team fell apart, Dimitry was the most lethal player of the Mexican team who won 14 by six of the rival in 37 minutes. The Dominican player was named the best player of the game. Infinity's problems in the early game remained in the second duel of the series. Team Aze took the lead again, went up 3-0 and after an intense exchange it was 5-3 away. The champion matched 5-5 in the middle game; he held the fight in killings, brought parity to 9-9. As happened in the first game, the Mexican team was decisive in the late game in which they won by 17 bloods to 14 and eight towers to one in 36 minutes to make the series 2-0. In the third match of the day Infinity competed better since the early game and achieved parity of 3-3 in kills. The situation continued in the middle game with the champion's resistance until the late game, but Infinity faltered and Aze took advantage of it; he won 19-14 to seal 3-0 in the series. Dimitry was, for the second time this day, the best player in a 46-minute duel. Next Saturday Isurus will play Infinity; a day later Estral will face Team Aze.
