Survey in El Conurbano: who are the 5 mayors with the best image and who are the 5 worst

CB Consultora measured the image of community chiefs and the impact of national leaders in each of the districts of Greater Buenos Aires

Which mayor from Buenos Aires has a better image in the Buenos Aires suburban area? In which district does President Alberto Fernández have the most arrival? These questions, among others, were addressed in the latest survey by the CB consultancy, conducted in March, on a sample of nearly 20,000 people, in 24 districts of Greater Buenos Aires

According to the report, the five community leaders with the best positive image are Gustavo Posse, from San Isidro (+46.2); Alejandro Granados, from Ezeiza (+45.9); Jaime Mendez, from San Miguel (+45.3), Noelia Correa, from Malvinas Argentinas (+44.4); and Diego Valenzuela, from Tres de Febrero (+39.2).

Meanwhile, the worst rated during March are Mayra Mendoza, from Quilmes (-10.3); Fernando Espinoza, from La Matanza (-6.7); Andrés Watson, from Florencio Varela (+4.9); Mario Ishii, by José C. Paz (+7.8); and Alejandro Chornobroff, from Avellaneda (+11.7).

In relation to Posse, his image -according to the study- is discriminated as follows: very good (24%), good (37.4%), fair good (10.6%), fair bad (16.4%), bad (5.2%) and very bad (4.2%). Mayra Mendoza, one of the leaders of La Campora, discriminates like this: very good (15%), good (16.8%), fair good (11.1%), fair bad (18.9%), bad (12.9%), very bad (21.4%) and NS/NC (3.9%).

The survey also measured the impact of national leaders in each of the districts of the suburban area. In this sense, President Alberto Fernández has his highest positive image in Merlo (69.0%), where the Peronist Gustavo Menéndez rules, and his lowest positive image in San Isidro (32.4%), of the radical Posse.

Vice President Cristina Kirchner, meanwhile, obtained her highest positive image in the historically Peronist Municipality of Florencio Varela (64.0%) and her lowest positive image in Vicente López (28.2%), a district governed by Juntos for Change. The former president will have a week of much exposure because the agreement with the IMF that took place Deputies will have to be dealt with in the Senate before Friday.

Deputy Máximo Kirchner, also at the center of the political scene due to his refusal to vote on the agreement with the IMF in Congress, gets his highest image in Florencio Varela (50.5%), and the lowest image in Vicente Lopez (19.3%), as did his mother.

Compared to the Buenos Aires governor, Axel Kicillof, he achieved his best image in Merlo (66.4%) and the lowest in Vicente López (32.5%). And the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa, for his part, has the greatest positive image in José C Paz (54.2%), and the lowest, in Vicente López (29.0%).

In relation to the main opposition leaders, former President Mauricio Macri has his greatest positive image in San Isidro (52.8%) and his worst image is in Merlo (19.3%). Beyond this, the PRO benchmark has a very low image in 19 of the 24 matches surveyed.

Macri, last week, was shown again in public during the Expoagro fair, which was held in San Nicolás. Asked about the agreement released this month and the discussions in the Chamber of Deputies around the bill that would enable the Government to sign it, the former president preferred not to go into details. “I congratulate all the blocks because they have had a great performance”

As for the head of government of Porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, he obtained his highest positive image - as did Macri - in San Isidro (72.1%) and the lowest in that in José C. Paz (43.9%). In turn, former Security Minister Patricia Bullrich also has San Isidro and Merlo as the districts where she has her best and worst image respectively.

Another opposition leader, such as Diego Santilli, has a positive image in Vicente López de (65.2%) and in the municipality of La Matanza his lowest positive image (36.4%). And on the radicalism side, Facundo Manes reaps a positive image of (61.6%) in Vicente López, and (32.4%) in Florencio Varela being the best and worst positive image respectively.
