The Faculty of Higher Studies (FES) Iztacala warned of possible fraud organized by people who promise to replenish field trips lost as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through a statement on its social networks, the center belonging to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) reported that knowledge of this came from several reports submitted by the community itself.
For that reason, he clarified that the activities of these people are outside the organization of the Faculty, which is why, he pointed out, the university authorities do not guarantee the safety of the attendees, in addition to being invalid for any subject in any of the careers.

“Any questions or information regarding the academic activities offered by our agency, I ask you to address directly to the corresponding career leadership”, concluded the brief.

Faced with the decrease in the wave of COVID-19 infections, the Máxima Casa de Estudios reported that they will continue with the face-to-face classesb for the Faculties that have approved this type of assistance with their respective Technical Councils.
In the same vein, the Institution also urged these centers to gradually increase students' attendance due to the decrease in positive cases of COVID-19 that keep most of the Mexican Republic at a green epidemiological traffic light.
That is why the Máxima Casa de Estudios also called on academic entities with later dates for returning to the classrooms to analyze and discuss the scheduling, as well as capacities and modalities, to accelerate the return of face-to-face activities.

Finally, the University encouraged the community to continue complying with health protocols to prevent contagion inside and outside classrooms.
In early January, the Faculty of Law welcomed — after almost two years — students in a hybrid format. In addition, other centers in Ciudad Universitaria, as well as Faculties of Higher Studies (FES), have gradually resumed face-to-face participation in certain activities, with priority in which internships are required.
