Dollar: Today closes March 15 in Honduras

In the

last session, the US dollar closed at 24.30 lempira, which was 0.08% compared to 24.28 lempira the previous day.

The US dollar fell 0.61% compared to profitability last week. Last year, it still increased by 1.84%. It is not possible to establish a clear trend in recent times with respect to past dates. The

Honduran lempira Lempira has been a

legally used currency in Honduras since 1931, and its abbreviation is HNL, divided into 100 cents. In addition, production is regulated by the Central Bank.

Before 1930, the official currency was the Honduran peso, and it was founded by the private banking institution of Banco Atlantida. In 1932, Congress finally lit the green light on the creation of a currency that remained in the hands of the Central Bank (since its founding in 1950).

2013, the Central Bank of Honduras approved the creation of 315 million banknotes with a Braille system and a special bar for the visually impaired, in addition to the possibility of creating arms banknotes.
